  • Roller Brake Test: Training on performing tests with approved brake testing equipment.
  • Correct Operation and Safe Use of Testing Equipment: Emphasis on safety and proper procedures at your premises.

Who Should Attend: This course is designed for individuals involved in maintaining and preparing vehicles for periodic safety inspection tests. Those who meet all NZTA requirements can qualify to become Vehicle Inspectors.

Step 2: Practical Training

Our 1-day preparatory course is designed to enhance your knowledge and understanding of using an INSPECTION PROCEDURE at a higher skill level. This training will help you:

  • Identify defects accurately
  • Make qualitative and quantitative assessments of wear and tear
  • Evaluate the condition of vehicles

Your NZTA Final Test

Once you’ve completed our training course with passing results and the 1-day practical training, you can submit your application to the NZ Transport Agency.
